Install Pushbroom
Add the tracking script before the closing </body> tag, on every page you want to measure. Copy it from your dashboard, where it carries your site’s key:
<script async="" defer="" src="https://pushbroom.co/script.js" data-key="your-site-key"></script>The key is how you prove the site is yours: once the snippet is live on your homepage, click Verify on the dashboard and Pushbroom checks for it. Nothing is recorded for a site until it is verified, and nothing else needs configuring. The script reports the address it was loaded from, which has to match the domain you registered.
async and defer are both there so the script never blocks your page from rendering, but the tracking script itself is under two kilobytes.
The script alone does not count a page. It looks for the <push-broom> element, and a page without one records no page view.
Read it before you run it
The file served at /script.js is minified, because every visitor to your site downloads it. The source is published in full at pushbroom.co/script.src.js
